He is survived by: his brother-in-law Dalwayne Campton; his wife Mary J. Whiteman (Revere); his son Mitchell L. Whiteman; his stepsons, Nathan T. Arthur, William R. Arthur, Jonathan B. Arthur and Virgil A Whiteman Jr.; his daughters, Chanda L. Whiteman, Loretta I. Whiteman and Alana Whiteman; his stepdaughters, Marie A. Arthur and Marcella K. Arthur; and his siblings, Ernest M. Whiteman and Ramona G. Compton. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
