It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Gerard Kegler of Casper, Wyoming, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on May 1, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Kegler and Marie Kegler (Hitzler); his daughter Miranda Kegler; his siblings, John Kegler, Ann Gentz and Theresa Brandenburg; his siblings-in-law, Bruce Brandenburg, Louis Smothers, Joe Gentz, Joana Kegler and Lucinda Kegler; and his mother-in-law Sharon Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Jana Kegler (Frandsen) of Casper; his siblings, Dorothy Smothers of Dubuque, Maggie Hoyt (David) of Prairie du Chien, Gerard Kegler (Vicky) of Casper, George Kegler (Wanda) of Casper and Christopher Kegler of Bar Nunn, Wyoming.; his daughters, Rebecca Kegler of Houston and Elizabeth Shoupe of Casper; his father-in-law David Taylor of Casper, Wyoming.; and his grandchildren, Kayla Shoupe, Preston Warsco, Bean Shoupe, Camille Kegler, Jaxton English, Kelton English, Karley Kegler, Hudson Kegler, Lincoln Kegler, Everly Kegler and Briggson Kegler. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
