She was predeceased by: her children, Martin "Sonny", Zella "Betty" and Elizabeth "Betty"; her husband Slats; and her nephew James Pelloux.

She is survived by: her children, David Slayton, Paula Beemer, Theresa Basaraba and Mary Sullivan. She is also survived by her parents, her brother and sister.

Donations in Zella's memory may be made to the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo, Wyoming. 82834.
