He was predeceased by: his sister Lana Moyer; and his granddaughter McKenna Young. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Herther of Buffalo; his sons, Cameron Herther of Casper and Shane Herther of Gillette, Wyoming; his stepson Christopher Robarge (Annie) of Cheyenne; his daughters, Stephanie Rastetter (Mike) of Omaha and Amee Standish (Dan Zuck) of Sheridan, Wyoming; his stepdaughters, Caroline Class (Theo) of Grand Junction, Terri Otto (Cory) of Washington State, Angela Hinnant (Jake) of Tennessee, Jennifer Hoviland (Wes) of Eureka and Tamara Maes (Eric) of Buffalo; and his sisters, Connie Johnson (Dude) of Cortez and Valerie Hayes (Vern) of Eagle River, Alaska. He is also survived by thirty-two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Donations in Stephen's memory may be made to the Stephen Herther Memorial Fund set up for the education of his grandchildren.
