He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel; his daughter Patricia; his siblings, Loraine and Lowell; and his daughter-in-law Karen.
He is survived by: his siblings, Esther Arp (Art) of Belle Fourche, SD, Harvey (Janet) of Mesa, AZ, Loyal (Inge) of Red Lodge and Larry (Wanda) of Kearney, NE; his children, Royce Kessler of Colorado Springs, Dalreen Kessler of Buffalo, Melonie and Arzy of Sheridan; and his grandchildren, Ann-Erika Whitebird of Santa Fe, Raina Cain (Jamie) of Kathleen, GA, Ethan Kessler, Aubrey Kessler of Colorado Springs, Charles Kessler (Victoria) of Sheridan and Erika Franks of Sheridan.
