He was predeceased by: his parents, Merl Sr. Gipson and Carrie Gipson (McCoy); his son Roger; his former spouse Gladine Simon; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Gipson; his brother Dean; his sister-in-law Mary Gipson; his sister Lois; and his brother-in-law Andy Rowan.
He is survived by: his former wife Ruth Anderson; his daughter Mary Lynn; his wife Kitty Burris; his son-in-law Donald Anderson (Skip); his grandchildren, Gary Anderson (Stephanie), Lisa Corrigan (William), Keith Gipson (Marie) and Neil Gipson (Keira); his great grandchildren, Keaton, Mariah Anderson, Declan, Hailey Corrigan, Zeke and Thea Gipson; and his stepchildren, Mary Alcaraz (Tino), Pattie Vega (Milo) and Lee Burris (Barbara). He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
