He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thomas Forbes and Edna Houseman Forbes; his sisters, Vivian Gallagher and Louise Davis; and his brother-in-law Louis Queen.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Queen Forbes; his children, Bonita Forbes of Cheat Lake, Debbie Forbes Ruckle of Mt. Morris and Bobby Forbes (Janet) of Morgantown; his sister Waneta Shank of Morgantown; and his sister-in-law Linda Queen of Morgantown. He is also survived by six grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
