She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Roy Wiant and Hila Ethel Wiant (Rogers); her siblings, Junior Wiant, William H. Wiant, Leona Mick, Mildred Snyder and Irene Messenger; and her significant other Hunter Newton Metz.
She is survived by: her children, Tanya Hobbs of Weston and Michael Metz of Colombia, SC; her siblings, Virgil Wiant (Joannie) of Buckhannon, WV, Nora Burkhammer (Quenten) of Weston and Marie Waugh of Gerrardstown, WV; her sisters-in-law, Mary Wiant of Weston and Hope Stalnaker of Rock Cave; her grandchildren, Bronwyn Watts, Giri Watts (Anne), Kelsey Metz and Jamahl Tantum; her great grandchildren, Seneca and Browder Watts; and her caregivers, Chris and Darlene.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to WVU Hospice at 2673 Davisson Run Road Clarksburg, WV 26301.
