He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Delmis and Mary Rose Giles (Cox); his daughter Lisa Dawn Giles Alfred; and his siblings, Jack Giles and Loretta Giles Herron (Willard).
He is survived by: his wife Donna Jane Giles (Batten); his daughters, Sherri Giles Marple (Homer) of Weston and Rebecca Lea Giles (Bill Pope) of Weston; his son-in-law Mike Alfred; his grandchildren, Justin Marple (Kourtney), Matthew Giles, Brandy Cook (Kyle) and Alyssa Pope; his great grandchild Tucker Marple; his sister-in-law Jane Giles; and his pet Zoie. He is also survived by his family and friends.
