She was predeceased by: her parents, Enoch Scragg and Lola Chandler Scragg; her husband Hubert "Cap" Gore; and her siblings, Lillith Scragg Linville, Milford, Clifford, Hassell and Enos Scragg.
She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis Sue Clay (Milton); her grandchildren, Alan Clay (Debbie) and Kathy Clay; her great grandchildren, Ethan Seabolt and Brent Winters; her sisters-in-law, Betty Scragg, Edna Stone and Edel Gore; and her cousin Patty Gwinn. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
