With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma Jean Trent of Welch, West Virginia, born in Mohawk, West Virginia, who passed away on October 18, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Birchfield, Sr. and Justus Birchfield of Tennessee; her husband Jack Trent; her son Steve Trent; her siblings, Betty Kennedy, Roger, Teddy, Frank and Ronnie Birchfield; and her granddaughter Ashley Felts.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Felts (Dale) of Princeton, WV, Tina Noe (Lyle) of Wilcoe, WV, Caci Trent (Tashaan) and Joe Trent (Tisha) of Kimball, WV; her grandchildren, Chandi Cox (Edward) of Bluefield, WV, Mandy Harris (Richard) of Alabama and Tiffany Lester (Greg) of Huff Creek, WV; and her siblings, Eloise Blevins of Athens, WV and Mack Birchfield (Beverly) of Panther, WV.. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, mask are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced with no more than 25 people in attendance.
