It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Purcell A. Lash Jr. of Welch, West Virginia, who passed away on August 27, 2021, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Uail, Louise Joyce, Julius and Gladola Lash. He is survived by: his parents, Purcell Sr. of Charlotte, NC and Estrellita J. Johnson of Fort Mill, SC; his sons, Purcell A. Lash III of Princeton, WV, Julius L. Lash Sr. of Princeton, WV and Stephen K. Lash of Princeton, WV; his grandchildren, Purcell IV, Madilyn, Zymier, Wren, Julius Jr. and Natalia; the mother of his children Tonya Lee-Lash of Charlotte; his sisters, Adriana Lash of Charlotte and Waynette Johnson of Fort Mill; and his nieces, Chantele, Jasmine and Leia Lash. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles; many cousins and friends.
