She was predeceased by: her parents, John Baxter Owens and Martha Keene Owens; her husband Shirley Atwood Datson; her son Ricky Datson; her grandchildren, Ricky Datson Jr. and Kathy Perdue; her great grandchild A. J. Gallop; and her brothers, Clifford McPeak and Grover Owens.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Datson of Welch, Roger of Kernersville, NC and Ronnie Datson of Kernersville, NC; her daughter-in-law Becky Datson of Bluefield; and her grandchildren, Lisa Walls (Michael) of North Carolina, Scotty Datson of Bluefield, Brandi Cox (Justin) of Bluefield, VA, Amanda Datson of Indiana and John Datson of Ohio. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; nineteen great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
