He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Eugene Tredway Sr. and Norvelle McQuillian (Mears); and his siblings, Raynell Reintzel, Becky Tredway, Florine McQuillian and Robert Tredway (Jerry Tredway).
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Tredway (Galyean) of Weirton, WV; his children, Tangena McGowan and Sam Elson; and his brothers, Harry Eugene Tredway Jr., Floyd "Junior" McQuillian Jr. and William "Sam" McQuillian. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews, and number great nieces and nephews.
