He was predeceased by: his parents, James S. Arnold and Sara Eula Fullerton Arnold; his wife Dorothy "Dottie" Jean Shane Arnold; his son Dean F. Arnold; his daughter-in-law Penelope Arnold; and his sisters, Irene Arnold and Ruth Herron.
He is survived by: his sons, James S. Arnold (Phyllis) of Charleston, J. Dennis Arnold (Joyce) of West Liberty, Thomas E. Arnold (Patricia) of Fairmont and Kevin D. Arnold of Morgantown; and his daughter-in-law Linda Arnold of Sewickley. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren.
