He was predeceased by: his parents, Berger Evertt Reinhold Lindgren and Dorothy Mae O'Brien Lindgren; his grandparents, John, Anna Lindgren, Addie Mae Davis and George O'Brien; his sister Sondar Joan Stabis; and his nephew Richard H. Stubbs.

He is survived by: his wife Juanita Bernardini Lindgren; his children, Jeff, John, Lisa and Melinda Bittinger (Joe); his grandchildren, Corey, Joseph, Austin, Coletin and Brittani; his great grandchild Hunter; his great-nieces, Kristen Richardson Cabrera (Jose) and Nicole Jarvis (J. J.); and also, Annabelle, Sebastian and Olivia.
