He was predeceased by: his children, Charles Vernon Hamrick, Billy Clyde Hamrick and Colleen Faye Hamrick; and his brother Jimmie Hamrick. He is survived by: his wife Dora Stephenson Hamrick; his children, Parris Dewayne Hamrick, Stella Lee Knight (Roger), Felicia Ann Lawrence and Ella Tanner; his stepchildren, Leslie Claypool and Anita McCartney; his siblings, Harry Hamrick (Lou), Larry Hamrick (Sharon), Roger Hamrick (Missy), Jerry Hamrick (Jeanette), Belvie Langdon, Ina Jane Cogar, Wilma Lee Owens, Brenda Hamrick, Lorna McCourt (Bobo), Anita Aleshire (Kent), Velda Barbe (Ronnie) and Drema Gray (Wayne); and his sister-in-law Betty Hamrick. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
