He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene McPherson and Betty McPherson. He is survived by: his wife Sherry (Vaught); his sons, Scott McPherson (Lisa) of Hot Springs and Corey McPherson of Wilmington, NC; his stepchildren, Amber Evans (Antonio) of Seattle, WA, Jody Carmichael of Wilmington, NC, Lindsey Carmichael of Clarksburg, WV and Seth Amos (Stacey) of Parkersburg, WV; his grandsons, Johnathan McPherson (Julia) and Jackson Amos; his sisters, Linda Brownfield, Sandy Brown, Terri Allman and Carole Cooper; and his brother-in-law Jeff Cooper of Parkersburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
As an agent he was involved in several civic organizations and made countless contributions to the community.
