He is survived by: his wife Sue Cottrell Parsons; his children, Stacie Hawkins (Ed) of Amma and Scotty Parsons (Meredith) of Wallback; his grandchildren, Bridget McLaughlin, Ashton McLaughlin (Tate) and McKynnah Parsons; his great grandchildren, Lincoln Gross and Gavin Gross; and his siblings, Jackie Parsons of Wallback, Mike Parsons of Matthews, N. C., Chloe Drake of Brewster, Deloris Wright of Oklahoma, Judy Greathouse of Spencer and Karen McCune of Maryland.
