He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer R. Smith and Ethelyn Mae Coon Smith; and his wife Doris Marie Rumsey Smith. He is survived by: his children, Wendy S. Wright of Williamstown, Daniel J. Smith (Sasha) of Williamstown and Kristina M. Carr (Nathan) of Williamstown; and his grandson Alan Osborne (Christine). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, six step grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
