He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Heavner and Anna Dyer Heavner; his spouse Helen Raines Heavner; his son Jeff; his siblings, Sue, Mallow and George; his grandchildren, Adam, Kyle, Addison, Claire, Lydia, Katie and Hannah Heavner Preceding; his brother Bill Heavner; his parents-in-law, Harley and Retha Raines; and his siblings-in-law, Bruce Puffenbarger and Sally Heavner.
