He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Pastor Stan Smith Jr. (Karen) of Tornado and Sally Lawson (Kim) of Fuquay-Varina, N. C.; his grandchildren, Hollie Shelton (Haskell), Jill Jitima (Nick), Zech Smith (Janine), Jason Smith (Amanda), Meg Arboleda (Juan), Kelsea Whitworth (Luke), Gavin Smith, Lilly Smith, Zoe Smith, Daniel Lawson, Jonathon Lawson, Josh Lawson, Anna Lawson and Nathan Lawson; his great grandchildren, Camden, Penley, Sam, Isaiah, Micah, Eden, Max, Leo, Jad, Damien and Jude; and his sister Barbara Wynette Smith Holt of Chattanooga. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, friends.
