It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Delaney (Thomas, West Virginia), born in Parsons, West Virginia, who passed away on September 1, 2019, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Herbert Hymes Jr. and Velma Lucille Hymes (Sines); and her husband Jerry Allison Delaney. She is survived by: her daughter Wendi Annette Shaffer (Guy Wayne); her grandchildren, Allison Pugh (Nathan), Dylan Pugh (Claudia), Tyler Pugh (Haley) and Brooklyn Ball; her stepgrandsons, Justin Shaffer (Diamond) and Daniel Shaffer; her great grandchildren, Madilynn, Jackie, Jamie Pugh, Violette and Ira Selby; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Courtney and Payton Shaffer; and her siblings, Wanda Crossland (Richard), William Hymes (Diane) and Bradley Hymes (Robin). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
