She is survived by: her children, Paul Allen Short (Vicky) and Teresa Leigh Short Mays of Milton, WV; her grandchildren, John Paul Short (Lori), Jacob Short (Misty), Luke Short (Jennifer), Jennifer Ayers Shaffer (Danny), Shawn Ayers (Bonnie), David Mays (Jennifer) and Heather Mays Fowler (Andrew); and her siblings, Amos Adkins of Marietta, OH, Lona Adkins Gibson and Olive Adkins Byrd of Huntington. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
