He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Hammock, Jr. and Beverly Higginbotham Hammock; and his sister Kathy Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Brenda J. Hammock; his children, Ashley Randolph (Christopher) of Buffalo, Desiree Thompson (Matthew) of Buffalo and Justin Hammock of Buffalo; his grandsons, Christian Sargent and Gabriel Thompson; and his sisters, Dawn Karnes of St. Albans and Cheryl Hammock-Vaughn of Titusville, Florida. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
