He was predeceased by: his parents, Verman Wilson and Evelyn Wagoner Wilson. He is survived by: his son Justin Wilson (Amanda) of Clendenin; his wife Reba Wilson; his children, Dwight Wilson (Sandy) of Kenova and Melissa Weaver (Thomas) of Kenna; his grandchildren, Allie Wilson (Caleb), Casey Wilson (Timothy), John Wilson and Ada Wilson; his great grandchild Navin Triplett; and his friends, Richard Webb and Larry White (Jean). He is also survived by extended family including many nieces and nephews.
