He is survived by: his wife Loretta Lynn Koon of Spencer; his daughter Jessica Neville (William) of Spencer; his siblings, Jimmy Koon (Angie) of Spencer, Anthony Koon of Stanley, Virginia, Brian Koon of Stanley, Virginia, Betty Moore (Roy) of Spencer, Cathy Nutter of Spencer and Joyce Matics (William Shreve) of Spencer; his siblings-in-law, James Dye (Amanda) of Newton, David Dye of Spencer, Gary Dye (Meredith) of Akron, Jonathan Dye of Newton and Lori Greenleaf (Mike) of Newton; and his mother-in-law Ann Dye of Newton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; many cousins; his dog.
