He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen McCoy and Tina McCoy (Baldwin); his son Stacy McCoy; and his siblings, Eleanor Price, Donald McCoy, Dolan McCoy, Gary McCoy, Wendell McCoy, Hearley McCoy, Louise Higgins, Icie Johnson, Tina Stull, Patricia Tanner, Tilda Howells and Nancy Tanner.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay McCoy (Powell); his daughter Amy Slider (Joey) of Hundred, WV; his sisters, Linda Hall (Daymon) of Browns Run, WV, Becky Hyde (Nevin) of Bingaman, WV, Holly Wilson (Claude) of Mannington, WV and Roberta Hoy (Eugene) of Mannington, WV; his grandchildren, Sarah Boutwell, Matthew Slider, Amanda Greathouse, Michael McCoy and Samantha George; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Boutwell, Nevaeh Boutwell, Faith Slider, Kendall Greathouse, Alda Greathouse, Emilee George, Camron and Dustin Greathouse. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
