James Harold Melott Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Harold Melott of Smithfield, West Virginia, who passed away on July 12, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Archie Melott and Sara Ethel Melott (Lemasters); his wife Emily Melott (Davis); his grandson Jamie Melott; and his siblings, Austin Dale Melott, Eliza Wilma Day and Shirley Ann Rinehart.
He is survived by: his sons, Bob Melott and Jimmy Melott (Mary); and his siblings, Floyd Melott, Loretta Medlin and Charlotte Postlethwait. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may me made to WVU Medicine Hospice at 2673 Davisson Run Rd, Clarksburg, WV 26301.
