He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Stewart and Hattie Matheny Stewart; his wife Nancy Stewart; his son Kenneth Stewart; his granddaughter Krista Stewart; and his brother Bob Stewart.
He is survived by: his son Richard Stewart of St. Mary's; his grandchildren, Mitchell Stewart, Maverick Stewart, Ashley Winston and Miranda Stewart; and his sisters, Sara Edgar and Kimberly Furr. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
