She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Samuel and Dorothy Cousten Houston; her siblings, Juanita Cecil, Mildred Blatter, Gertrude Mitchell, Madeline Shreves and Ralph Clark Houston; and her granddaughter Tara Baugess.
She is survived by: her children, Edward "Buck" Warner (Becky) of Wedderburn, OR, Barbara Scarlet of Mebane, NC, Debbie Metz (Bill) of Friendly, WV and Jeff Howard (Missy) of Sistersville, WV; her grandchildren, Mitchell Baugess, Angela Dalrymple (Bill), Chris Metz (Betsy), Courtney Cobb and Samantha Mixer (Tyler); and her sisters, Ramona Van Dyne and Ruth Owens. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
