Norma Jean Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Jean Smith (Sistersville, West Virginia), who passed away on April 8, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Henry Cornell and Sara Kathryn Flanagan Cornell; her husband Otto B. Smith, Jr.; her siblings, Bill, Victor, Jerry, Robert Cornell and Linda Moore; and her sons-in-law, Victor Starcher, II and William "Buddy" Emmerling.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Burgey (Dave) of Sistersville, WV, Cindy Emmerling of East Liverpool, OH and Donna George (Ron) of Sistersville, WV; her sister Phyllis Emmerling of Wellsville, OH; her grandchildren, Vikki Card (Craig), Amy Thompson (Brandon) and Stacy Corll (Ben); and her great grandchildren, Anna, Isabelle, Evan Card, Christian, Noah, Isaac Thompson and Maggie Jean Corll. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
