He was predeceased by: his father Earl Smith; and his sister Lisa Beaver. He is survived by: his mother Donna Smith; and his children, Joseph Smith of Sistersville, WV, Matthew Smith (Kayla) of Flatwoods, WV and Bethany Brightwell (Cody) of Middlebourne, WV. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and two step grandchildren.
