It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Thompson (Shinnston, West Virginia), born in Monongah, West Virginia, who passed away on June 2, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Orval Vernon; her husband Junior Thompson; and her siblings, Mary Virginia Lipinski, Eleanor Louise Kennedy, Donald, Neil, Orval and Bud.
She is survived by: her parent Bessie Mae Davidson Satterfield; her sons, Donny III and Thompson III; her wife Brenda; her grandchildren, Jake, Brian, Wendy, Jacob, Les and Ben; her brother Stephen of Charleston; her siblings-in-law, Betty Satterfield of Monongah and Bob Kennedy of Florida; and also, Kim, Bucky of Charleston, Susie Jett and Natasha Metz.
