It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Butcher (Shinnston, West Virginia), born in Weston, West Virginia, who passed away on September 3, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Sue Cress; his sons, Michael Todd Butcher (Jackie) of Shinnston and Robert Stephen Butcher (Brogan Barnett) of Shinnston; his grandchildren, Austin Michael, Alivia Ann, Luiz Ricardo, Grayson Robert and Maddie Lynn Butcher; his stepgrandchild Kaleb Chase Barnett; his brother Johnathan Ruhl Butcher (Cheryl); his sister-in-law Irene Blair; and his siblings, Wallace, Tom, Joe (Tilly), Jerry Butcher, Margaret Butcher, Marjorie Corathers (Bill) and Linda Cawthon (Jerry). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
