She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Barnhart Meredith and Monongah (Marion); her siblings, Hazel Meredith Beall, Paul E. Meredith and Virginia Meredith Burnett Walker; and her nephew Harley Beall.
She is survived by: her daughters, Meredith Sue, Adjunct Assistant Professor of Creative Writing, Christine and Expository Reading; her sons-in-law, Andrew B. Weinberger and Goro Kato; her grandsons, Joel Howard Willis Weinberger and Alexander Benkei Kato-Willis; her granddaughter-in-law Sarah Leah Weinberger; her great grandchildren, Shira Tova Weinberger and Eli Glenn Weinberger; her great-nieces, Tamara and Erica; and her great-nephew Jeff.
