He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery A. Lipscomb and Margaret E. Mundell Lipscomb; his daughter Peggy Lipscomb Glaspell; and his sisters, Angie Lipscomb Rice and Joann Metheny.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Gooden Lipscomb; his children, Susan Kay Lipscomb of Shinnston and Glen Lipscomb; his children-in-law, Alberta Lipscomb of Thornton and Silas Glaspell of Looneyville; his siblings, Gary (Drema Lipscomb), David (Alberta Lipscomb) and Margaret Brand; and his brother-in-law Barry Brand. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
