He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Abner; his children, James Allen Abner, Debbie Abner, Sherrie Abner, Jeremiah Abner, Nathan Abner and Christina Harper; his stepchildren, Charline Raffle, Ervin Harper and Robin Baire; and his brother Harold Abner. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
