She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnson Perry and Mildred Shanklin Perry; her former husband Hayden Poore; her husband Robert "Bill" Higginbotham; her siblings, Phyllis McClung and Dickie Roberts; her grandson Eddie Kyle; her stepson Bill, Jr.; and her grandson Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Bobbie Rich, Betty Melton, Linda Grimmett (Gary) of St. Albans, Rita Armstrong (Bob) and Thomas Poore (Jenny); her siblings, Charlene Meier and Lester Hensley (Judy); and her pets, Bubba and Chloe. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
