She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston L. Smith and Wanda Williams Smith; her husband James Earl Tuning; her son Timothy Scott Smith; her sisters, Maryrita Hull, Charlotte Cole and Delores Weis; and her stepdaughter-in-law Brenda Tuning.
She is survived by: her children, Linda N. Richardson of Clarksburg, MD and Russell L. Tuning (Ramona) of Buckhannon; her stepchildren, James O. Tuning (Patricia) of Buckhannon, Hayward L. Tuning of Maysville, WV, Barbara E. Kingsbury of Peterburg, WV and Joseph B. Tuning of Clarksburg, MD; and her siblings, Shirley M. Carter of Little Rock, AR and Dave Smith. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
