He was predeceased by: his parents, Garrett I. Long and Catherine Long (Snider). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Long (Smith); his children, Dr. G. I. Long III and Kitty Blue Kiser; his grandchildren, Garrett, Jesse, Tyler Long, Ashley Blue and Kelsey Kiser; his great grandchildren, Garrett V, Hunter, Jeremy Long and Harlyn Long; and his sister Kay Long Turner.
