He was predeceased by: his parents, Lafe West and Garnet Moore West; his sons, Richard Leo West and Mark Anthony West; his girlfriend Della Kidwell; his sisters, Kathy Lambert and Shirley Dowler; and his pets, Prince and Lucky.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna Middleton of Crescent City, Fla; the mother of his child Janet Casto (Gary) of Rockport; his sisters, Norma Deem (Roger) of Alabama and Sharon Sommerville (Gary) of Slate, WV; his grandson Justin Middleton (Megan Queen) of Rockport; and his great grandchild Max Queen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
