He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Boyce and Mary "Etta" Thompson Boyce; his wife Janet Gant Boyce; his siblings, Cecil, Lawrence, Truman, Earl, Garnet Thomas, Opal Miihlbach, Lillie Gates, Gladys Boyce and Faye Hanson; his sons-in-law, Duane Davis and Rich Thompson; and his brother-in-law Jim Gant.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Boyce (Patricia) of Ravenswood, Connie Boyce of Rockport and Karen Thompson of Butler, PA; his grandchildren, Noah Davis (Tonya), Doreen Mitchell (JR) of Le Roy, WV, Ashley Gamble (Ian), Corey Thompson of Butler, PA, Eric and Jesse Boyce of Ravenswood; his great grandchildren, Macey, Cohen, Licoln Gamble and Jameson Mitchell; and his brothers-in-law, Dave Gant (Barb) and Sonny Gant (Charlotte) of Elizabeth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
