He was predeceased by: his parents, William Paul Reed, Sr. and Naomi Willetts Reed; his son William Reed, III; and his brothers, Mark and Wayne Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Weller Reed; his daughter Beth Chapman (Scott) of Kearneysville; his grandchildren, Nick (Emmee), Andrew, Amber, Hannah, Emmy and Drew (Ashley); his brother Jess Reed (Sharon); his sisters-in-law, Sue and Niecee; and his daughter-in-law Elizabeth. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home (256 Halltown Rd, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bolivar Pentecostal Church (87 Old Taylor Ln, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425).
