He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Gipson and Mary Gipson (Waselchalk); and his wife Martha Mae Crookshanks Gipson. He is survived by: his children, Christine Puffenbarger (Travis), Richard Gipson II and Ashley Wilson (Jared); his grandchildren, Layne Puffenbarger and Isabella Wilson; and his siblings, Daniel, George Gipson, Faith Spade, Glenna Ellis and Connie McKown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
