She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillman Donald Simmons and Mabel Campbell of Missouri; her brother Richard "Dick" Simmons; and her pet Shadow. She is survived by: her brother Dr. Tillmon Lee Simmons (Donna) of Chapin, SC; her nieces, Elizabeth Simmons (Daniel Breen) of Boston and Kathryn Simmons Daly (J. Oliver Daly) of Melbourne, AU; her great-nieces, Matilda and Penelope Daly of Melbourne, AU.; and her caregivers, Libby, Brenda, Anna and Robyn.
