She was predeceased by: her husband J. L. Hughart, Jr.; and her sons, Ricky McCafferty and Paul McCafferty. She is survived by: her daughter Marianne Walton (Robert) of Crawley; her stepdaughters, Joyce Lusk of Beckley and Crystal Hughart of Beckley; her son Daniel McCafferty of Rainelle; her siblings, Clara McCafferty of Layland, Anna Pektelidis of Maryland, Barb Woollard of Florida and Billy Morris of Maryland; and her grandchildren, Desiree, Salena, Dustin, Joey, Gabby and Vanessa. She is also survived by 5 great Grandchildren.
