She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Sanford and Sidney Sanford (Rhodes); her close friend D. S.; and her sister Joyce Rider (Junior). She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Crookshanks (Curtis) of Rainelle and Renee Whitmore (John) of Oak Hill; her sister Frances Robinson (Earl) of Maryland; her grandchildren, Brent Crookshanks (B. J.) of Meadow Bridge, Adria Ward (D. R.) of Rainelle and Grant Whitmore (Haley) of Oak Hill; and her great grandchildren, Gunner, Ryker Ward of Rainelle, Stella Mae and Stetson Whitmore of Oak Hill.
The family requests donations of sympathy be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Charleston.
