He is survived by: his children, Dean (Kay), Jan Southerland, Patricia (Gary Haggard) and Marla (Scott Douglass); his grandchildren, Scott (Patti), Joshua Dorsey, Casey (Kelly), Jeremy Southerland (Alexia), Aaron, Jesse Haggard (Brittany), Michelle Moreland (Elijah), Andrew (Gavi), Craig (Abby) and Emily Douglass; his great grandchildren, Kyle, Ella, Britannia (Lee), Cody (Maggie), Kelsey, Lucas, Madison, Jacob, Julia, Ariana, Micah, Ezra and Lil Jesse; his brother-in-law Curley O'Dell (Nancy); his spouse Drema McClung Hellems Shires; his children, Sandy (Mark Alderman) and Jeff Hellems (Amy); his granddaughters, Mary Alderman, Marcia Bellinger (Chris), Jennifer Hummer (Corey) and Chelsea Hellems; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Gracie, Simon and Katie; and his parents-in-law, Murlene Pomeroy and Gene McClung (Libby). He is also survived by his sisters.
