It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Herbert May Sr. of Rainelle, West Virginia, who passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Paul May and Florence Mazey Boggs May; his wife Connie Walkup May; his son Russell Allen "Rusty" May; and his siblings, Celesta, Lenora, Jean, Gordon, Norman and Norland.
He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Bland (Brian) of Meadow Bluff; his grandchildren, Shane May (Amanda), Erica May, Joshua Reynolds (Savannah), Matthew May and Tiler Bland; and his great grandchildren, Bryson, Caleb, Asher May, Kinley and Oaklyn Reynolds.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Sewell Valley Baptist Church or the Rainelle Volunteer Fire Department.
